Herpes Books Reviews:

Here is quick list of herpes books you might find interesting.

Herpes Wise by Nathalie Foy: Herpes wise is a book about herpes alternative treatment but not only. Nathalie goes deep in details about all the aspects of herpes, what it is and how it is transmitted. But I like the most in this book is that I was able to find specific strategies she had created I couldn't find anywhere else. She has also developed several relaxation and motivational techniques that really helped me feel better about herpes and control it mentally. She also gave me diet guidelines and simple steps I could use to stop herpes outbreaks very quickly. I'm very happy with the results. This book gives you strategies for treating HSV-1 and HSV-2 but is mostly for people with genital herpes.

The Truth about Herpes by Dr.Steven Sacks:  This is one of the herpes books you should have. It is written by a doctor specialized in herpes study. It gives you a lot of valid information on what herpes is and what it can do for you. If you want to read a book written by a doctor then you should read this one. It might get a little technical at some point but I still feel it is worth the effort. The information may be a little outdated now but it is still up-to-date for the most part.

Guide to Talking about Herpes by Dr. Ruth: I remember finding my first Dr. Ruth's guide while having difficulties with my boyfriend. It was a splendid book that talked without shame about sexual matters. It made me feel about myself. Dr Ruth has the skill to help you talk or listen about a very embarassing subject and make you feel better about it. I recommend this as one your herpes books.

Controlling Herpes Naturally by Michele Picozzi is a health journalist who has HSV-1 cold sores. She has written an ebook about the natural treatment of herpes. She offers a holistic approach to herpes prevention and treatment. It was one of the first book I read about herpes. I found it interesting but I remember feeling that I couldn't remember half of her recommendations. She gives a lot of information on diet and lifestyle, supplementation and herpes products but not a clear guidelines on what to do.

Making Peace with Herpes By Christopher Scipio
I ordered the electronic version of the book with much expectations. I felt that Mr. Scipio was a very good and brave person. I feel he probably is but I also feel that his book is not filled with the kind of information I was expecting to find. The book is very reassuring and speaks a great length about the psychology of herpes and why you shouldn't feel ashamed of yourself and outcasted if you have herpes. However, I didn't find the simple herpes protocole I was hoping for, the one that he probably sells at his office. It was a big disappointment to me.
