Croton Tiglium: if redness, itchiness and great sensitivity is present. This homeopathic remedy for genital herpes is mostly indicated for women.

Borax: If stinging open sores are present. This remedy is mostly used by men.

You may combine some of those homeopathic remedies for genital herpes depending on your symptoms.

Natrum muriaticum: to prevent or stop fever blisters at the tingling stage. It is mostly indicated if blisters tend to appear after long sun exposition.

According to your profile a homeopath is likely to give you Thuja, Medorrhinum Natrum muriaticum, Dulcamara, Mercurius solubilis, Sepia, Vaccinotoxinum (once per month)... and if cold sores appear during stressful events Staphysagria or Ignatia. Thuja should never be used for self-treatment because it can worsen symptoms.
