Cold sore or fever blisters can cause a lot of pain and take alll your attention. So how do we relieve cold sore pain? Many will tell you to take a tylenol or some other pain killer. But I won't. Organic Silica gel

The best way to relieve cold sore pain is to dab a thick layer of chilled organic sillica gel on your sore. Organic silica gel is a wonderful product that can not only heal a cold sore but also relieve its pain. Organic silica properties are not very well known in the United States. That's why it is still hard to find a good quality silica gel. The most easy to find is worthless. I've tried it myself and it wasn't very effective. Look for the gels that are made from horsetail.

Keep the jar of silica gel in the fridge. You'll have a wonderful cooling, soothing and healing gel that can relieve cold sore pain on contact. You may use it as often as needed. Placing something cold on your fever blisters or on your cold sore to realieve the pain is always a good idea anyway. Avoid putting ice durectly on your sore though. You may end up burning your sore more. Always use a bag of plastic before applying it on your cold sore.

MSM gel:

MSM is another gel that can also relieve cold sore pain. MSM is a wonderful wound healer as well. It is not potentially dangerous like his cousin DMSO. You may have heard of it while during research on herpes on line. MSM is safe for use and shuold also be applied chilled on a cold sore. Keep it in the fridge and use it as necessary. But beware not all MSM gel are suitable for cold sore pain relief. Many MSM gels are mixed with all sorts of things.You want to find a safe gel that can be dabbed on a sore, not an anti-wrinkle cream or some joint-pain gel.
