Used over the course of several breakouts. My results have not been good with this treatment. As it warns, it hurts quite a bit - more than just a stinging sensation. I have not noticed fewer breakouts after having used Choraphor - this was the primary reason I chose this med. I think it makes the condition worse - definitely impeded the healing process and has largely contributed to scarring (I had never had scars before using it). I will never use it again.

I read somewhere that if you take lysine for three months you can send herpes into remission. Of course I tried it. It's been almost three months and I've already noticed a difference. I still feel tingling, but it doesn't last as long and I don't have an outbreak. I am feeling really good about this method and looking forward to no more outbreaks. I usually only get them every 3-4 monhts, which seems to be very mild. I'll come back after six months and let you know more.
